It's the first day of First Monday. For the next several days, thousands will flood Canton, TX. And if they're lucky enough ... they'll find Canton Marketplace.

The market would not be possible each month if we didn't have such wonderful vendors. They come from all over, bringing some really hot items for shoppers to purchase and make their own. One thing I really love about our market is that items you see here, you probably won't see anywhere on the grounds. It's truly unique.

You want bling, we've got it. You want beautiful home decor, we've got it. Fashion and jewelry items, check. Purses, art, clothing, gourmet food, health/beauty items, Yellow Box shoes ... yep we've got all this, too! And more!

Canton, TX is probably best known for its once-a-month shopping-palooza ... First Monday Trade Days. Thousands come to take a peek at all sorts of treasures and "treasures", buying everything from flea market finds to hand crafted pieces.

But have you heard about First Monday's best shopping destination? If you haven't you're definitely missing out! It's Canton Marketplace. And we wanted to start this blog to get the word out about why it's a First Monday must.

• It's air conditioned! Canton Marketplace is the only pavilion with A/C, which makes shopping entirely more enjoyable. Yea!
• No sifting thru junk! We hand-pick our vendors, allowing only the cream of the crop to sell items here.
• Have a glass of wine while you shop! Midway fare may suffice for the "grounds", but Canton Marketplace is different.
• Indoor Food Court! No need to leave the Marketplace for lunch. Just pop over to our Food Court, then get back to the mission at hand ... SHOPPING!
• It's a breath of fresh air! Unique items, clean facilities, no dreading the heat, vendors that are THE best.
